Primary Reasons for Misbehaviour
There are 4 primary reasons for disruptive behaviour in the classroom
- Power
- Revenge
- Lack of Attention
- Want to be left alone (i.e., disinterest or feelings of inadequacy)
Note;
- Every behaviour has a background
- Many misbehaviour exhibited as a reaction
- Do not tolerate undesirable behaviours no matter what the excuse
- Understanding why a person exhibits a behaviour is no reason to tolerate it
